My First Masterpiece™ workshops are run on a daily basis in Jillian Hunter's art studio in West Vancouver. Workshop times are flexible in order to work with budding artists' schedules.

During the workshop, children are encouraged to let their imaginations go, resulting in a masterpiece that is truly their own and something to be proud of. Classical music and fresh cut flowers complete the artistic experience.
Each workshop is comprised of a maximum of six children. All ages are welcome – babies and toddlers too. Our youngest artist to date was 11 months old! The materials used are the same materials used by professional artists, including artist quality paints, canvases, and brushes.
At the end of the workshop, children get to choose from a variety of different ornate style frames to frame their work, similar to what you would see in a world class art gallery on actual masterpieces! Using hammers, screwdrivers, and a keen eye, the children then frame their art themselves (Jillian assists with the tools!).
My First Masterpiece™ paintings are proudly hung in many family homes, and make wonderful, unique gifts for special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, grandparents, teachers, birthdays, and Christmas.
Cost is $110.00 per child - including all materials AND framing. Get a group of 5 or 6 together, and the rate is $100 per child.
We’re Mobile
My First Masterpiece™ is mobile! If you can’t make it to the North Shore, we will happily run a workshop in most Lower Mainland areas. You provide the artists and the venue, we’ll bring the rest! (Minimum 3 children, venue must be pre-approved).
